The caterpillar acrylic is 4 inches in width, and the chain (including the smaller star charms) is approximately 15 inches total (6.5 in. each side). The extended chain adds up by 2 inches, so the chain's total length is approximately 17 inches. Do note that this is on the smaller side of charm necklaces!!!
There's a protective film on the caterpillar that can be taken off.
